Hi, my name is Lauren Gillespie and I am currently a junior at Auburn University majoring in Apparel Design. My time at Auburn has allowed me to explore every layer of the design process, from concept development and technical design to garment construction and digital design. Throughout my courses, I’ve learned how to merge creativity with precision, transforming original ideas into garments. At Auburn, i’ve developed a strong foundation in both hands-on craftsmanship and digital innovation, using programs like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to design collections, prints, and technical flats. I’m passionate about telling stories through color palettes, fabric selection, or small design details that make a big statement.
