This two piece set is made from shantung dupioni raw silk, featuring a halter style top with an empire waist under the bust, finished with a ruffled peplum at the hem of the top, and a completely open back.  The top is paired with a fitted high-waisted maxi skirt, with a slit in the back added for ease. This look was my first ever pattern making project and I wanted it to almost reflect my personality and style. It combines timeless sophistication with a modern and feminine edge. The textured silk adds subtle sheen and structure, elevating the simplicity of the silhouette.
